DJ and Producer Adrian Yin Michna started out his musical career as a trombonist on the NYC circuit, playing in dance rock bands at the Lion's Den and CBGBs before he was old enough to get served at the bar. After graduating from Miami's Frost School of Music he founded Secret Frequency Crew and released the single "Miami Eyes" which became a favorite among the underground DJ community and caught the attention of Diplo. In 2007, he flew to Brazil to work with Diplo and Bonde Do Role producing the song "Quero Te Amar." A year later Michna signed to Ghostly International and released his debut album "Magic Monday," collaborating with FriendsWithYou for the cover art. Michna followed up "Magic Monday" with a series of EPs and in 2013 was commissioned to compose music for Sony Playstation's "Hohokum"
In 2014, Nike tapped him to produce 8 beats for the release of the Lebron 12 shoe, and HBO licensed "Swiss Glide" for Mike Judge's acclaimed show "Silicon Valley." In 2015, Michna released his sophomore album "Thousand Thursday," toured extensively and closed the year with a collaboration at the MoMA with sound artist Yuri Suzuki. He has DJ'd for Bergdorf Goodman, Opening Ceremony, Kenzo, The Warhol Museum, Brooklyn Museum, Richard Branson, Jack Ma, and many more.

EGi returns to Evansville, IN with our good friends Skydyed!
Hailing from the suburbs of Chicago, EGi has a sound that is very difficult to describe. That sound has grown and progressed throughout the years, coinciding with the musicians themselves. This group has pushed the boundaries of classification by focusing on eloquent songwriting alongside intense instrumental compositions while leaving space for epic improvisational journeys.
A staple of EGi has always been the dual lead guitar sound (James Hernandez & Noe Perez), complimenting each other through an understood recognition of space and harmony. The rhythm section (Allan Borukhovich on bass and Drew Littell on drums) provides a driving backbone while keeping the pocket deep and funky throughout each song, stepping up to shine when the moment calls for it. EGi has vividly captured this on their two full length albums Plyatron and Vessel. Due to their steady touring and studio work, this midwest band has a fanbase that has grown to encompass the whole region and steadily spreads throughout the nation.

Here It is Folks! The 5th annual Sugar Creek Music Festival is right around the corner and we can't wait to see everyone back together for all of the fun and festivities that we have planned for this year!
It will be held September 13-15 2018 in Benton, IL at the beautiful Camp Manitowa. 12770 N. Benton Camp rd. Benton, IL. There will be music playing Thursday, Friday, and Saturday as well as many other various activities to enjoy.
The weekend will be filled with many funominal musical acts, live artists, a super jam stage, vendors of all sorts, delicious food, fire performers, yoga, flow arts workshops, kayaks, canoes, a rock wall, free showers, restrooms, camping and so much more. Hailing from the suburbs of Chicago, EGi has a sound that is very difficult to describe. That sound has grown and progressed throughout the years, coinciding with the musicians themselves. This group has pushed the boundaries of classification by focusing on eloquent songwriting alongside intense instrumental compositions while leaving space for epic improvisational journeys.
A staple of EGi has always been the dual lead guitar sound (James Hernandez & Noe Perez), complimenting each other through an understood recognition of space and harmony. The rhythm section (Allan Borukhovich on bass and Drew Littell on drums) provides a driving backbone while keeping the pocket deep and funky throughout each song, stepping up to shine when the moment calls for it. EGi has vividly captured this on their two full length albums Plyatron and Vessel. Due to their steady touring and studio work, this midwest band has a fanbase that has grown to encompass the whole region and steadily spreads throughout the nation.

Thursday gate entry is a bit special. The gates will be from Noon - 9PM at the end of every hour. This means they open at noon, then they close until around 1PM. Then they open for a little bit, and they close until around 2PM. This repeats until 9PM, and then the gates are closed until the Festival starts on Friday at Noon.

During the months leading up to Camp Bisco, we get just as excited for the festival as you. We have already built and unveiled a dream-team lineup and now it’s time to share what other things we’ve been working on. All year, we’ve been taking all of your feedback into account and formulating plans to improve the experience. Here are some of the changes we are most excited about…
THREE TIMES AS MANY PARKING LOT BUSES
That’s right — we’ve added 3x as many buses this year to get you there even faster and with less delay! And, of course, enjoy our signature, round the clock parking lot DJs – who will be on hand to start the party as soon as your car is in park.
PARKING LOT BUSES NOW GO DIRECTLY INTO THE CAMPGROUND
Not only are we adding 3x as many parking lot buses, but buses will now take Campers directly into the campground! No more “layovers” – you won’t need to get off of the bus and onto a campground shuttle. PLUS – parking lot layouts have also been re-designed to load multiple buses at a time – which will be a big help, too.
FILLING UP THE BUSES WITH CAMPERS, NOT GEAR
We are going to fill up the buses with Campers this year – no more gear taking up valuable seats for Campers! All buses will travel with much easier-to-load trailers to carry your gear safely to the campground. We’ll fill every seat, and still be able to get everyone’s gear up along with them.

Legs tired from dancing all night? Keep an eye out for our all new, UTV Taxi service with designated stops throughout the campground and festival grounds.

Edamame is the stage name of music producer Ed Harris, hailing from the city of Chicago. Mainly inspired by the great outdoors and different cultures of the world, Ed's productions are often full of organic elements and sounds that he has personally field-recorded while exploring the planet. By synthesizing instrumental hip hop with downtempo and further blending it with his deep love for world music, it's safe to say Edamame has carved a musical style that is truly unique. In his own words he simply creates "song that help you float." Since starting in 2012, he has released 10 albums (the most recent being on Emancipator's Loci Records), that have garnered tens of thousands of downloads, played his music live for fans coast to coast and internationally, had songs played on the radio in countries around the world, and even had United Airlines buy songs from him. It may be hard to believe that he used to be a national touring death metal vocalist.

E Alo is an electronic music composer creating down/mid tempo, melodic, rhythmic, electronic instrumentals. All made from scratch and completely original. I create sonic fairytales to take listeners on a journey. I hope to warm people's hearts, touch their souls, and move their feet.

Earth Like Twins is busy reinventing live music in Fort Collins with what frontman Nick Ierisi calls a “live looping electro-funk duo.” It's interesting, exciting, tantalizing; a new sound on the FoCo landscape is a rarity.
This is essentially live music – Ierisi and drummer Craig Babineau play something in the moment, record it, then loop the sounds with others they play – and yet it's recorded. It's a conundrum and a conflagration of technology meeting one of the oldest forms of communication, performing in front of an audience.
“I play synthesizer, keyboards, and guitar while Craig plays a Roland Octapad and drums,” Ierisi said in an interview with AXS. “Both of us run our instruments through Ableton Live and make a series of clips and arrange them live to create our songs. We also have a variety of vocal samples we drop in. Only the vocal samples are pre-recorded clips, everything else is played, recorded, and looped live.”

On their third studio album Sir Nebula, TAUK tap into their singular chemistry to elevate and expand their all-instrumental blend of funk, hip-hop, progressive rock, and jazz. Revealing both their refined musicality and unbridled creativity, the Oyster Bay, New York-bred rock-fusion four-piece (guitarist Matt Jalbert, bassist Charlie Dolan, keyboardist/organist Alric “A.C.” Carter, and drummer Isaac Teel) push into new sonic terrain and build entire worlds within each richly textured soundscape.
From the hazy atmospherics of “Time’s Up” and soaring riffs of “Program Select” to the urgent rhythms of “Shenanigans” and sprawling melodies of “Where You Are,” Sir Nebula finds TAUK introducing a cosmically inspired element to their music. “The album ended up taking on a more ambient kind of vibe than anything we’ve done before—there’s a spaciness in the songs that lets you get lost in the sound,” says Dolan. And while the album is endlessly hypnotic, TAUK also deliver the dynamic tension-and-release jams that have helped earn them a devoted following while drawing critical acclaim (the Washington Post, for one, praised TAUK for “creating a hard-charging, often melodic fusion that—thanks to a penchant for improv—offers limitless possibilities”).
As with their past four releases, TAUK created Sir Nebula in collaboration with Grammy Award-winning producer/mixer/engineer Robert Carranza (The Mars Volta, Ozomatli, Jack Johnson, Taj Mahal). We were all just completely focused and in the same mindset, which made it this incredibly fun and smooth experience.”

A live band on hi-tech hyperdrive, EOTO has forged new territory in the electronic dance music movement. Locked and loaded with computers, loopers, midi controllers, routers, software, mixers, and the latest in music technology, multi-instrumentalist Michael Travis and percussionist/vocalist, Jason Hann have sent a speeding bullet through the electronic dance community due to their innovative 100% improvised approach and as a result, their exclusive sound. Not just a haphazard foray into experimental music, the duo starts their musical adventure from scratch (there are no pre-recorded loops, no backing tracks, and no pre-constructed songs in their live production) building each set, note-by-note, beat by beat, live before the audience as each show explodes into a full-scale dance party.
A double-headed juggernaut, the duo works effortlessly as they twist and turn through a series of genres including Drum & Bass, Electro, Dubstep, House, and Glitch Hop dance music; virtually constructing a new sci-fi soundtrack each night they perform.
What makes EOTO extraordinary is the way the duo designs their performance by looping live guitar, bass, and keyboard synths, alongside with live drums and vocals, to carve out their sound right before the eyes and ears of the audience. No small feat in music production; even the highest order of studio producers, audiophiles, and musicians have a hard time wrapping their head around EOTO’s approach, and the wild ride that results.
Much of EOTO’s other-worldy sound takes place long before the band takes the stage. Using unique mic placement and internal software EQ for the drums, combined with an internal system for self mixing and monitoring, EOTO is able to craft its sound to the audience in a way that most sound engineers might overlook when mixing an electronic band. It’s not just rock instruments on stage mixed with computer sounds, its live instruments treated in a different way, sonically, for the purpose of performing a different style of music. These nuances are always a source of amazement when EOTO is approached about how they “get their sound".
Best known as the drummer and percussionist for the wildly successful String Cheese Incident, Michael Travis cut his musical teeth in the junior high school marching band playing the French horn in the early eighties. However, his deep love for rhythm has always played a major role in his career. In 1986, Travis picked up the hand drum and started playing guitar in Santa Cruz, California. It wasn’t until 1995, when the drum kit found its way into his life, a moment that would shape his career forever. For more than twenty years he has held down the rhythm section for audiences spanning hundreds of thousands of fans, in cities around the globe. His keen interest in international and world music has dotted his career allowing him to explore multiple genres of music, while keeping dexterity in each instrument he plays. His ability to perform as adeptly on the guitar, bass and drums allow EOTO to create a rich organic sound, often overlooked in today’s press-play DJ community.
When Jason Hann joined Michael Travis in the rhythm section of the String Cheese Incident in 2004, he was no stranger to the big stage. Performing professionally since the age of 12, he has toured and recorded internationally with the likes of Isaac Hayes, Loreena McKinnett, Dr Dre, Rickie Lee Jones and Vinx. His depth and knowledge of percussion has taken him around the world to study in countries as far as Mali, Ghana, Haiti, and Korea allowing him a rare deftness to switch seamlessly through a variety of genres of music, whether it's Rock, R&B, Pop, Jazz, Latin, Latin-Jazz, Flamenco, African, Persian, Electronica, Techno and World music. With an extended biography that reads like the who’s who of music, it’s no wonder he found himself naturally drawn to developing a more experimental sound of his own, with EOTO.
As the perfect musical pairing, EOTO draws upon their rich history, training, and diverse influences to create an innovative yet fully improvised electronic music experience unlike any other on the scene today. EOTO has had many unique sit-ins that have allowed for, yet, another mark of their original sound including, The drummers of Stomp, members of String Cheese Incident, members of Umphrey’s McGee, Stanley Jordan, Dominic Lali (Big Gigantic), David Satori & Sidecar Tommy (Beats Antique), Billy Kreutzman, Vinx, Toni Childs, Karsh Kale, Jamie Janover, Steve Kimock, Jamie Shields (New Deal), and Adam Deitch (Lettuce) just to name a few.
Over the years, EOTO has taken home numerous awards including “Best Live Dubstep” at the Dubstep Awards in 2012 as well as multiple awards for their cutting edge visual show, and most recently ranked in the “Top 50 bands to see live” by HypeMusicFestivals.com. Hann was also listed as the number 2 live EDM drummer by TheUntz.com , and EOTO was mentioned as having the top 3 best Projection mapping shows by ill-methodology just this year.
With no two songs alike, and over 6 years since the last release of a studio album, this is not a band that will be known for their one-hit-wonder, or their big magazine/blog "feature of the week”. This is a band whose testament will stand firmly in their unparalleled creativity and ability to produce brand new material at every performance they play.

Earphorik is a progressive rock and funk styled jam band based out of Fort Wayne, IN. With clear influences from jam band greats including Umphrey’s McGee, The Werks, and Widespread Panic the band quickly made headlines in the national jam scene and quickly picked up a dedicated following. The band was formed by Chris Treesh (guitar/vocals), Austin Robinson (guitar/vocals), Nolan Opper (bass), and Ryan Moreno (drums). Showcasing high-energy funk, vast genre ranges, and explosive peaks – Earphorik takes you to a whole new level of musical consciousness.
Formed in 2013 as a collaboration of several Fort Wayne area bands, Earphorik released their first album A Year From All Angles in August of 2014, available on all major listening platforms. The band followed up the album with the release of a live album recorded at Jake Cinninger’s Boondock Studio in Niles, MI, which consisted of just one take bringing the magic of the live performance to life. Evanoff is the musical experience created by Parker Oberholzer, Jake Hall, and JJ Evanoff from Boulder, Colorado. Whilst the act originally started as JJ Evanoff’s solo project, it didn’t take long before it blossomed into a live ensemble incorporating Oberholzer on Bass, and Hall on drums, both of which JJ met in school at the University of Colorado Denver.
JJ’s guitar melodies act as the vocalist for the group, and guide the listener on an emotional and spiritual journey, while Hall’s groovy rhythms and Oberholzer’s face melting slap bass skills keep the crowd moving, all night long.

THE ORCASTRATOR
Brandon Theis, known as The Orcastrator, was born in a small town in Brazil. Moving to America at the age of 2, he began growing up in the Baltimore/Washington Metropolitan area where he was always a boy who sought exploration, whether it be skateboarding, rock climbing, jumping off a bridge, he was always one not to sit still. He began to be influenced by the hip-hop and skateboarding culture. Heavily influence by rappers like Tupac and Eminem to groups like, A Tribe Called Quest and The Beatles there are many influences and tastes that are helping to influence a sound of Bossanova Disco Jazz Funk mixed with a new kind of Electronic Future Soul. In 2015, The Orcastrator moved to Denver, Colorado to join the constantly changing and ever so funky electronic music scene.

Desert Dwellers consists of Amani Friend and Treavor Moontribe, who began their careers as independent music producers and DJs in the deserts of New Mexico and California. Coming together in the late ’90s after connecting through the legendary Moontribe scene, today the duo enjoys a reputation as one of the most pioneering and prolific downtempo, psy-bass, and tribal trance acts in the United States. Desert Dwellers have toured extensively across six continents, spent a 7-week stretch on the road with renowned psychedelic artist Shpongle, and have performed at dozens of festivals, most notably Shambhala, Lightning in a Bottle, Envision, Coachella, Rainbow Serpent, and Boom. We are very excited to announce our biggest show if the year! This is our second annual Halloween party with Spectacle, and this time we are going all out at Ophelia’s and adding Templo late night set, Toy Box and more friends to the mix. Spectacle is has put together a Big Band of very talented musicians to take their live experience to the next level, so this is something you do not want to miss. We are also very lucky to have some great sponsors including KNRE and Sacred Seed onboard, so please check them out!
For those of you unfamiliar with Spectacle, they formed in the heart of Denver’s electronic music scene in 2015. Their orchestral ...instrumentation (violin, percussion, guitar) quickly made the outfit stand out amongst the crowd; each show being an experience, that is refreshingly original. Hard hitting drops, alongside afro-cuban percussion make for an irresistible groove and a heady tropical soundscape. Beautiful soaring violin melodies, and deep rhythmic bass synth lines drive each musical passage through every member of the audience. Band members Michael Mahan, Jessica Borth, and Rob Brandon work in unity gripping the crowd for a show that is both mesmerizing and captivating from start to finish.
Templo is a producer based out of Denver Colorado. In his music, you will hear all original compositions, found especially in his latest... releases, which include the 4 track EP's Sunrise vol. I, Sunrise vol. II, Walk With Me and Life Cycles. In the last two years, Templo has played alongside some of the top experimental producers such as Shpongle, Ott, Kalya Scintilla, Random Rab, The Polish Ambassador, EOTO and Bluetech. Appearing at festivals such as Envision, Gem & Jam, Sonic Bloom, Once Upon A Festival and Arise Music Festival, Templo presents a unique live experience incorporating downtempo, trip-hop and dub elements, with deep melodic bass.
Toy Box (Carter Matthews) has had a busy last few years making a name for himself in the Denver music scene and cultivating ...an audial style that is all his own. With his production talents ranging anywhere from Future Bass to Melodic Downtempo, Toy Box distinguishes his sound with the folky instrumentation of his mandolin, a talent that also provides a very unique live experience for lovers of electronic music. Govinda is the alter-ego of Austin based producer/composer Shane Madden. Bass Physics is an upcoming electronic group bled from the heart of America's electronic music scene: Denver, Colorado. The coalition of A.P. Adair and Luke Sims began when they met in music tech lab at Cherry Creek High School in 2010. In May of 2012, after coming home from Iowa State for summer break, Sims came to Adair with what is now "loco" a track to be featured on their debut album.
In the few months since the group has ben formed, Bass Physics has been creating quite a stir in the local electronic scene. With four shows under their belt, and more booked Bass Physics is soon to be a readily recognized name. Playing in venues like Cervantes Masterpeice Ballroom, the Aggie Theater, and Western State University, they have been undaunted in their goal to spread positive vibes to their audience', creating an already impressive fan base.
Their music is a mashup of different sounds including hip-hop and down-tempo grove-step, but they are described as "electronic-soul". Bass Physics has built quite an impressive repertoire already, opening for wel-established national touring acts such as; Zion I, Minnesota, Diego's Umbrella, and will soon open up for the likes of Watsky, Radical Something, and many more. All ski lifts and slopes at Winter Park Resort--an all inclusive site featuring lodging and hotel accommodations--will be open and festival attendees are encouraged to wear their ski/snowboard gear. The festival has partnered with Las Vegas-based entertainment firm, Silent Partner Entertainment Group, for all booking and marketing needs and with BETA Nightclub to help promote the event locally. Big Dub Candy Mountain is an annual art & music festival. Each year we bring 40 of the regions biggest electronic dance dj's to perform as well as host workshops, seminars, and other fun events! If you have ever been to Burning Man or a regional burn, you will find a resonance in our principles, our spirit of giving, and our nonstop cycle of fun~
Workshops this year will include yoga, introduction to fire arts, aerial arts, raver crafts, object manipulation and so much more!! We also encourage people to band together and create camps that show their creativity. Pick a theme! Create a space to express yourselves and entertain others. Full art installations are also encouraged and can be arranged directly through the organizers.
